St. Patrick's Day

Like President's Day, this was the first year that E, R, and I did much for St. Patrick's Day. In part, because I'm not Irish. : ) But they have some Irish blood, so I thought that whipping out some Irish fun was more than appropriate for these two!

We did two things. The first, was to have a St. Patty's Day scavenger hunt! Right here is where I got almost everything I needed for the hunt... for FREE. All I had to do was to print out the clues, hide them, and get a little bit of candy for E and R to find at the end!

The second thing we did was a science experiment called "Rainbow in a Jar" which you can get the how-to for here. It's a study of density and a really pretty outcome!

I also got the ingredients to make a fun fruit rainbow like this but we didn't get around to it. : )
